Add an animated signature to Outlook

Outlook renders standard HTML signatures, so your animation and layout come through as designed on both web and desktop.

Outlook on the web

  1. Design your signature on BylineSig, then click Copy HTML.
  2. In Outlook, go to SettingsMailCompose and reply.
  3. Under Email signature, click into the editor box.
  4. Paste with Ctrl + V (Windows) or ⌘ + V (Mac).
  5. Click Save at the bottom.

Outlook desktop app (Windows)

  1. Copy your signature HTML from BylineSig.
  2. File → Options → Mail → Signatures…
  3. Select or create a signature, then paste directly into the editor.
  4. Set it as your default for new messages and replies, then click OK.

Troubleshooting

If spacing looks slightly different than the preview, that's normal — Outlook's desktop renderer (Word-based) is stricter than the web version. The animation itself will still display correctly since it's a standard hosted image.
