Add an animated signature to Superhuman
How you set it up depends on the account behind Superhuman. Gmail accounts reuse the Gmail signature. Outlook accounts take a pasted one.
With a Gmail account
- Install your signature in Gmail on the web first, using our Gmail guide.
- In Gmail’s signature settings, select it as the default for both new emails and replies or forwards, then Save Changes.
- Refresh Superhuman with ⌘ + R or Ctrl + R.
With an Outlook account
- Design your signature on BylineSig, then click Copy for Gmail to copy the formatted signature.
- In Superhuman press ⌘ + K or Ctrl + K and choose Signature.
- Paste the signature, including its image and links.
Good to know
Superhuman supports one signature per account.
It adds a “Sent via Superhuman” link by default. You can switch it off from the same Signature command.
These steps follow Superhuman Help: Signatures, last checked October 2026. Menus move; if yours looks different, tell us at [email protected] and we will fix the guide.
