For designers

Designer email signatures with real type and restrained motion

Email is hostile to design: no web fonts, almost no CSS, and Outlook draws with Word. BylineSig renders the design to an image so the type and motion you chose are what the reader sees.

Real output from the BylineSig engine, shown with example names. Each is an animated GIF inside email-safe HTML, the same thing you paste into your mail client.

Your type survives

Text is rendered into the animation, so it looks the same in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail instead of falling back to Arial.

Direct it like a brief

Describe it the way you would brief a colleague: “Swiss, off-white, one accent colour, slow”. On Pro you refine it with follow-up notes.

The files are yours

Pro lets you download the GIF and the HTML, so you can host them yourself or hand them to a client.

What to put in a designer’s signature

How it works

  1. Enter your details. Name and role, plus whichever of company, email, phone and links you want shown.
  2. Describe the feel. One sentence is enough. Pick a ready-made style instead if you prefer.
  3. Copy and paste. Install it in Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail in under a minute. We host the animation.

Questions

Why can’t I just build my signature in HTML and CSS?

You can, but mail clients strip web fonts, flexbox, grid, animations and most positioning, and each one strips different things. That is why BylineSig puts the design inside a rendered image and keeps the HTML around it deliberately plain.

Can I control the exact colours and fonts?

You direct them in words, for example “accent #7c6cff” or “monospace name”. The design is generated from your description within the set of fonts the renderer ships with, so it is not a pixel-exact tool like Figma.

Can I make signatures for my clients?

Pro has unlimited saved signatures and lets you download the files. A dedicated agency or team plan is planned but not available yet.
