Photographer email signatures as considered as your portfolio
Clients hire photographers for taste. A signature with clean type, your speciality and a portfolio link shows it in the first reply to an enquiry.
Design my signature — freeReal output from the BylineSig engine, shown with example names. Each is an animated GIF inside email-safe HTML, the same thing you paste into your mail client.
Designed to your style
Light and editorial, dark and moody, warm and candid. Describe your look and the signature follows it.
Portfolio and Instagram
Both as icon links under your name, so an enquiry is one tap from your work.
Small and quick to load
The animation is a compact GIF, typically a few hundred kilobytes, hosted for you. It does not attach to the email or bloat a thread.
What to put in a photographer’s signature
- Name or studio name.
- Speciality and location: “Wedding photographer, Lisbon”.
- Portfolio link.
- Instagram.
- Phone, if clients book by call or text.
How it works
- Enter your details. Name and role, plus whichever of company, email, phone and links you want shown.
- Describe the feel. One sentence is enough. Pick a ready-made style instead if you prefer.
- Copy and paste. Install it in Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail in under a minute. We host the animation.
Questions
Should I put one of my photos in my email signature?
A portrait of you can work, since clients are hiring a person. A sample of your work usually does not: at signature size it is too small to impress. Link to the portfolio instead.
Can I use my studio logo?
Yes, on Pro. Upload it and it is animated into the signature.
Will the signature slow down emails with large attachments?
No. The image is hosted and loaded by the reader’s mail client; it is not attached to your message.
